I'm sure it wasn't as bad to him as...Lol!! I'm sure it wasn't as bad to him as YOU felt about it...in fact, generous soul that he is, he probably got a good chuckle out of it. You and he will probably look back on it in a few weeks and laaaaaugh!

I LOVE finding folks like that out there. Goodhearted older folks willing to share their vast knowledge and experience with you. That friend of mine who passed away a few weeks back was like that...and I could just sit at her feet soaking up all that knowledge. These wonderful Titus 2 sorts that the Lord puts out there to mentor the younger set along. I'm with Kathleen...I hope your honey runs out so you can go get to know him better. What a gem! And the great thing is...to them, often just having the company is fair exchange for all they are willing to share with you.

P.S. (because this wasn't long enough already)...I used to get honey from an old guy named Miller when we lived in Minnesota...though he's long gone now. He was in his late 80's back when I knew him. My good friends grandfather. Are you sure you're not my long lost sister, lol?Beckyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03362618797920704090noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2957707408902134063.post-24804589364943466162010-02-25T12:40:50.799-05:002010-02-25T12:40:50.799-05:00LOL!!! once again my friend, you have made me laug...LOL!!! once again my friend, you have made me laugh! BUT...more importantly you have reminded me that there are many kind and generous people that we have the privilege of encountering through out our days...if we will take the time to notice!
I am sure that as much as you got from this encounter with "Honey Bear Miller"...he got from you and your willingness to take the time to listen to and value what he had to share! i hope you use your honey up quickly so you can visit with him again!
Have a FABulous weekend!
<3Kathleen Ellishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18196455216012510521noreply@blogger.com
